Finally!!!
I had the "Weekend d'intégration" in Aix-en-Provence!
All the inbounds in Rotary International District 1760 from all around the world met up for the first time! We'd been really excited for this moment for a very long time, and so it was the best weekend for all of us.
It's another great thing about Rotary Youth Exchange Program, you get to know so many people with the same dream/purpose, and you get to share your own ideas with people from all around the world. We are all interested in different culture, language etc (that's why we're going on exchange anyway hahah), and it's inspiring to know that there are so many students who have the same internets : to explore the world.
At the end of the weekend, we all agreed how lucky we are, to spend a year in France. There might be obstacles, there might be some time when you miss home, but all in all, we are all living in the life we had dreamed as a child.

Anyway, it's been quite a long time since the last time I posted on this blog… Well the school has started and everyday I come back home very tired. Because everyday I learn so many new things! It's an amazing feeling that I barely had in Japan. Because in Japan, you're used to everything and everyday is just a circle of doing the same things again and again and again… Here, there are so many things to learn everyday! I go to bed at 10pm, feeling tired but satisfied, and get up at 6:30, feeling refreshed! At school, it's been great too! I might be too optemistic but I think I understand the classes more and more! Yesterday in history class, I could understand some of the questions the teacher asked! It's so satisfying :) At home, I can feel that I understand more and more phrases in French. My host family talks as much French as they can to me, which I really appreciate! :) | And let me introduce my new coolest friends at school : Elodie and Lilou! They always help me and my school life in France wouldn't have been so good without them! I'm so happy that I made such amazing friends here! I might not always say "Thank you" to them but in my mind, I'm very very thankful all the time. There are so many things I'd like to share, but I'm running out of time… I'll update soon! Thanks for reading, See you soon! |
